Charlotte Mahoney

Accreditation & Quality Management Consultant

About Charlotte

“I’m Charlotte Mahoney, founder and Director of QSA Ltd, and I specialise in helping organisations build practical, compliant, and high-performing management systems that genuinely support the way their business operates.

For more than a decade, I’ve worked with organisations across a range of technical and industrial sectors, guiding them through certification, accreditation, and quality improvement projects. My focus is particularly on UKAS accreditation and ISO standards, helping organisations navigate what can often feel like a complex process with clarity and confidence.

My philosophy is simple: Quality systems should work for the people using them. They should support the business, not burden it. That’s why every system I help develop is designed around the organisation itself, ensuring it is both compliant and practical to use day-to-day.”

Charlotte’s Approach

“Over the years I’ve seen that the most successful management systems are those that are built with people, not imposed on them.

When I work with clients, I aim to understand how their organisation operates in practice and build systems that integrate naturally into their day-to-day activities. My role is often not just as a consultant, but also as a mentor, problem-solver and trusted partner throughout the accreditation or certification journey.

I’m extremely proud to have supported many organisations in achieving certification and accreditation, and I maintain a 100% success rate in helping clients complete these projects.”

Charlotte’s Background

Before establishing her consultancy practice, Charlotte spent almost a decade working for an international leader in the manufacture and supply of specialised medical and industrial equipment. across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

During this time she was responsible for supporting compliance within the industrial service business, carrying out service audits across European subsidiaries and third-party partners, and working closely with regional management on operational development and performance analysis.

This experience gave her a strong understanding of how management systems interact with real business operations – something that continues to shape the way she approaches consultancy work today.
